Advanced Clinical Facial Treatments for Skin Health

Our clinical facial treatments go beyond what is customary in the spa industry. As a relaxing and refreshing treatment, a facial works by opening the pores and deeply cleansing the skin. Each clinical facial has a specific purpose, such as treating acne or dry, aging skin. If you struggle with problem skin, aging facial skin, or discoloration, it is imperative that the correct clinical facial treatment is selected so that the most positive outcome is achieved.

A Reputation for Excellence

Dr. Fechner has garnered a reputation for excellence in both surgical and non-surgical facial treatments, and his master medical aestheticians can help you with a customized clinical facial as a single procedure, or as one element in a comprehensive anti-aging treatment. Any facial treatment, including clinical facials, must be customized to maximize the results. At Dr. Fechner’s medical spa, you can expect personalized, compassionate care, and treatments perfectly suited to your individual needs.

How Is A Clinical Facial Different From A Regular Facial?

While a clinical facial can certainly be as pleasant and relaxing as a regular facial, it can only be delivered in a medical spa, and its purpose is to treat and improve the skin from both a medical and health perspective. It begins with a thorough analysis of your skin type and your unique problems, and is performed by a medical aesthetician with advanced training to accurately analyze your skin.

Dermaplaning Facial

Our Dermaplaning facial reveals a brighter and smoother complexion instantly. This treatment provides the ultimate exfoliation using a safe and highly effective manual exfoliation procedure called dermaplaning. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently buff the skin’s surface, removing the outer-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (peach fuzz). This process helps promote new skin cells for a fresh and more youthful glow.

The benefits of this treatment are:

  • Removes soft facial hair that traps dirt and oils
  • Allows deeper product penetration
  • Promotes smoother skin
  • Diminishes the appearance of fine lines
  • Eliminates dead skin cells safely

What Type Of Follow-Up Is Needed?

To achieve and maintain the optimal level of health for your skin, your aesthetician will most likely recommend an at-home skincare regimen for both morning and night. It is also advised that you schedule regular appointments for a clinical facial every 6 – 8 weeks. Remember that healthy skin is radiant skin!
